POINT 01

An authentic guesthouse, cherished for over a century.

Located in the scenic Suma area overlooking the sea, the former Nishio Residence unfolds amid a setting of exceptional beauty.
From the celebrated Japanese garden that reflects the richness of all four seasons to the main Western-style building adorned with a red staircase and shimmering stained glass, the estate offers a truly extraordinary atmosphere.
Here, a cultural property wedding infused with the spirit of omotenashi gracefully enhances both Western gowns and traditional Japanese attire.

POINT 02

A Vast Estate of Over 10,000 Square Meters Surrounded by Lush Greenery

Far removed from the bustle of the city, this tranquil retreat offers a healing, otherworldly setting to share unforgettable moments with your guests.
Within the expansive grounds, an English garden is available for ceremonies, alongside a celebrated scenic garden carefully designed to reveal its greatest beauty even a hundred years from now, reflecting the changing seasons of Japan.
As one of only a few such preserved estates in all of Japan, the entire property is designated as an Important Tangible Cultural Property of Hyōgo Prefecture.
At this truly authentic guesthouse, Kobe Geihinkan – Former Nishio Residence, a once-in-a-lifetime day unfolds.

POINT 03

Culinary Omotenashi by Renowned Chefs

To ensure that your once-in-a-lifetime day is remembered through all five senses, each dish is crafted as a heartfelt expression of hospitality that lingers in the memory of your guests.
At the heart of this omotenashi lies the cuisine. At Kobe Geihinkan, our chefs create French dishes infused with delicate Japanese elements, using an abundance of seasonal ingredients sourced from Hyōgo Prefecture, all prepared with great care and intention.
Couples may also design their own menu through a prix fixe style, choosing freely from over 2,500 possible combinations to create a truly personal course that conveys their feelings to their guests.
Just like the Former Nishio Residence, which has stood in Suma for over a century, this thoughtfully curated dining experience becomes a lasting memory of a day to be cherished.
